Your rent is changing on 1 April

If you pay by Direct Debit, don’t worry, you don’t need to do anything.

If you receive Universal Credit or Housing Benefit, you will need to update your new rent charge. For Universal Credit, you’ll need to update your log book, and in the case of Housing Benefit (if you are paid it directly), you’ll need to let your local authority know.

If you pay by Standing Order, you will need to ensure the monthly payment is amended.
