Catwalk for a Cause raises nearly £25k for Hillcrest Futures

Posted: October 6, 2026

A fantastic amount has been raised in support of Hillcrest Futures following this year’s Catwalk for a Cause fundraising fashion show.

Sponsored by Robertson Construction Tayside, Bancon Construction, Campion Homes and CHAP, the event brought together fashion, entertainment and fundraising for an unforgettable day, with every penny raised going towards supporting the work of Hillcrest Futures and making a difference to the lives of people across our communities.

Guests were treated to a packed programme of entertainment, including a fabulous performance from Lucky and the Dragettes, before models took to the catwalk to showcase some of the amazing pre-loved bargains available from Hillcrest’s boutique charity shop, Past Present Futures.

But the real stars of the show were the people supported by Hillcrest Futures, who delighted the audience with a fantastic line dancing performance.

Alongside the entertainment, guests had plenty of opportunities to support the fundraising effort, with a raffle, tombola and auction, as well as the chance to purchase specially selected items from the charity shop.

The event raised just under £25,000, all of which will support the work of Hillcrest Futures. Alan Russell, Hillcrest Futures Chairperson commented “Catwalk for a Cause is always a brilliant opportunity to bring people together, have some fun and raise vital funds for Hillcrest Futures.

“The highlight had to be seeing the people we support take to the floor for their line dancing performance. They absolutely stole the show and received a wonderful response from the audience.

“We are incredibly grateful to everyone who came along, performed, volunteered, donated prizes, bought tickets or supported the fundraising activities. Together, you helped us raise just under £25,000 which will make a real difference to the work of Hillcrest Futures.”
