Are you paying more for energy than you should be, and missing out on money?

With energy prices increasing, you may be paying more by only relying on your estimated bill.

To prevent possibly paying extra, don’t forget to submit a manual meter reading as close to 1 January as possible.

  • If you have a traditional non-smart meter, you can submit your reading by calling your supplier, or you can submit them online. If this is not possible due to high demand then you should take a picture and submit the readings when the suppliers are less busy.
  • If you have a smart meter, your bill should be correct as the meter automatically gives readings to your supplier and the tariff will change automatically. However, you can also manually submit readings to your supplier in case your smart meter is not functioning correctly.
  • For those with smart prepay meter, your tariff should change automatically.
  • For those with traditional prepay (key and card) meter, the tariff will change the first time you top up after 1 January.

 

Cost of Living Payment

Are you eligible for the third and final ‘benefits’ cost of living payment? If so, the final £299 instalment will be paid from Tue 6 Feb.
