
What’s your name and what apprenticeship are you undertaking? – My name is Izzy Campbell, and I am completing the income management and engagement apprenticeship.
What are your interests/Hobbies? – My main hobby is dancing, I teach tap and modern dance classes for children aged 2 and up, I also love to read and paint.
What do you enjoy most about your apprenticeship? – I enjoy being able to learn new skills while getting real hands‑on experience and being part of a team.
What has been your favourite memory since starting at hillcrest? – My favourite memory since starting at hillcrest has been our young person’s meetings.
What advice would you give someone thinking about starting an apprenticeship? – I would say that it is an opportunity worth going for, and if you think its something you are interested in you should definitely apply for one.
What do you hope to do in the future? – In the future I hope to stay on at Hillcrest and hopefully work my way up to becoming a Housing Officer.
How has Hillcrest supported you since starting your apprenticeship? – Everyone here is very welcoming and supporting, I also think having other young people in the business is a good support system to have as we are all doing similar things and can ask each other for advice.
What made you apply for an apprenticeship? – I applied for an apprenticeship as I wanted to continue my learning but wasn’t sure if university was for me, I think learning while I work in an environment like this suits me best.
