Since adopting the Sustainability Reporting Standard (SRS) for Social Housing in 2022/23, Hillcrest annually measures and reports on our Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) performance using comprehensive qualitative and quantitative criteria across a range of categories.

Reporting against this framework allows us to showcase and track our sustainability and progressive decision-making as our organisation continues to develop and evolve.

Our ESG report for the year 2024/25 earned an ‘Exemplary’ rating from independent European consultancy Ritterwald.  This recognition positions Hillcrest as a sector leader in ESG reporting within the Scottish housing sector and underscores our commitment to improving lives and protecting the environment through sustainable practices.
