Hi, I’m Stephen. I was homeless for nearly four years and had drug and alcohol addiction issues. Life was very messy for a while. I’ve been coming to the Edinburgh Resource Hub for a while now and it’s helped me turn my life around.
Since coming to the Hub, I’ve met lots of wonderful new people and have made new friends. My confidence has increased and I’ve made great progress with my recovery.
I’ve received some amazing support from the staff at the Hub, there is always someone there I can talk to for advice. I’ve learnt lots of useful life skills and really enjoy going on the trips and excursions to galleries and other places of interest.
My future looks much better now. I have my own flat, I’m out of recovery and working part time. I’m looking forward to getting into full time employment.”
