This week we’re celebrating the voices, talents and contributions of people with learning disabilities as part of Scottish Learning Disability Week.
Led by the Scottish Commission for People with Learning Disabilities (SCLD), the campaign theme is shaped each year by people with lived experience. For 2025, the message is clear: many people with learning disabilities still feel excluded from jobs, healthcare, social events and culture.
That’s why this year’s theme is: “I Am Here” – a powerful call for visibility, recognition and inclusion.
Our Pledge Wall
To show our support, we’ll be sharing personal pledges throughout the week from staff and the people we support, highlighting their commitment to inclusion and change. These pledges will be added to our Pledge Wall below each day, so please check back regularly to see new additions and reflections!
