Self directed support allows you to be in charge of your support and live life as you choose.
This way of working allows you to have control over identifying your needs, design what you want to have in place to improve your life and decide how you want to purchase your support.
If you choose Hillcrest Futures to support you, then we can help you with everything from advice about your money, to finding you a new home.
The following list gives you an idea of what we can help with:
- Making sure you are receiving all your benefits;
- Cooking and preparing food in your home
- Filling out forms
- Supporting you in employment
- Achieving your goals
- Speaking to companies and other people on your behalf
We can do a lot more than the list above, and always make sure you are happy with what we are doing. If something isn’t working, then we will talk to you about how you would like to change it.
