We support many people with autism across our services. These include:
Our services are person-centred and flexible to ensure we meet the specific needs of the people we support, putting the individual with autism at the heart of their support.
We ensure we get to know each person so we fully understand how to communicate and relate to them and how they interact with others, situations and environments.
We understand that communication and interaction do not always involve the use of speech and language so we use the most appropriate method of communication for each individual.
We work closely with other professionals to ensure we provide an excellent standard of support. This includes:
We value family and carer input and work closely with them through the person’s transition to a new service and while they are supported by us.
We have two services that have achieved accreditation with the National Autistic Society. We use the National Autistic Society standards as a benchmark for all or services that support people with autism.
These services are all registered with the Care Inspectorate.
