Edinburgh Futures Resource Hub has been set up as a base to allow anyone who is homeless, has recently been homeless or is at risk of homelessness (this can be interpreted to include anyone who struggles with mental health issues, addictions or is socially isolated), to develop skills and resilience to overcome the barriers to social inclusion which many individuals have had to face in such circumstances.
The project aims to challenge these issues through an open, supportive and safe environment for individuals to use the services on offer, including skills and confidence workshops, IT sessions as well as more general living skills such as cooking or tenancy sustainment.
Daily drop-in sessions are run by project staff and peer mentors with an emphasis on skills sharing and personal development within a person-centred setting.
How to make a referral/ attend: No appointment necessary, just drop in.
