Procurement

Hillcrest procures the services of a wide range of external suppliers and contractors across all companies.  We are subject to The Procurement Reform (Scotland) Act 2014 and European Directives for any goods and services we purchase over £50,000.

Due to this all of our contract notices for tenders issued will be found on Public Contracts Scotland website, which is hosted by the Scottish Government. This can be found here.

We will also promote our contract notices on social media where relevant.

We operate an ‘open’ tendering process where all suppliers are free to submit a bid as long as they meet the specification issued.

We encourage prospective contractors or suppliers to sign up to Public Contracts Scotland to receive notifications for all Scottish public sector contracting opportunities. If you see a contract advertised which would be of interest to you, please follow the instructions given in the Contract Notice or advert.

For goods and services under £50,000 we follow best practice guidance and will quote for goods and services which are valued at higher than £2,000.  To do this we use the Public Contracts Scotland ‘Quick Quote’ facility.

We intend to publish our Contracts Register on this page at least annually as well as our Procurement Strategy and Annual Procurement report which are required by the legislation.
