We are seeking new voluntary board members to join the boards of our Hillcrest companies where you will play a key role in ensuring that we pursue our ambitions and meet the expectations of a wide range of stakeholders, including the Scottish Housing Regulator, Care Inspectorate and our customers.
We are looking for individuals who can share their skills and experience to support the governance and strategic direction of Hillcrest, who have an understanding of the pressures facing organisations in the current economic climate and a genuine interest in being involved.
While you don’t need to have previous board-level experience, we would like to hear from people who can support our Leadership Team in delivering our business plan, who are able to form sound and balanced, independent views and who can challenge in a constructive and collegial manner.
We pay out of pocket expenses and provide a thorough induction and developmental training. An annual calendar is in place for all meetings which are held in a hybrid format, however there are occasions when attendance in person is a requirement. The role profile can be found here.
