On our Hillcrest Futures Board, you’ll play a key role in shaping the exceptional service that we deliver in support of people with a wide range of challenges – from those struggling with substance use, learning difficulties and homelessness, through to older people. We’re here to help people live better lives, and we want you to help at a strategic level.
We are looking for individuals who can share their skills and experience to support the governance and strategic direction of the organisation, who have an understanding of the pressures facing social care providers in the current economic climate and a genuine interest in being involved.
You don’t need to have previous board experience, so this this might be the perfect first step into the world of senior and strategic roles.
Our Hillcrest Futures Board supports our Leadership Team in delivering our business plan, offering sound, balanced and independent views, and constructively challenging various aspects with collegiality.
We pay out of pocket expenses and provide a thorough induction and developmental training. An annual calendar is in place for all meetings which are held in a hybrid format, however there are occasions when attendance in person is a requirement. The role profile can be found here.
