Dominos grabbed a pizza the fundraising action when they donated lunch to the winning team of Hillcrest Housing Association’s 50 grand to lend a hand challenge.
As part of Hillcrest’s 50th anniversary celebrations, staff were challenged to collectively raise 50 grand for a range of charities and causes.
Clare McNally, Hillcrest fundraising and grants officer explained that ‘Tequila Mockingbird was our winning fundraising team after raising an amazing £10,500 for the Archie Foundation, Breast Cancer and Ward 32 at Ninewells hospital.
“We wanted to reward the team with a celebration lunch so were delighted when Dominos agreed to donate this for free. Overall we raised £66,117 which is our biggest fundraising achievement to date.”
Stephen Robson, Operations Manager for Dominos Dundee and Arbroath, commented that “I was very impressed to hear about Hillcrest’s fundraising efforts. What an achievement and definitely worthy of a celebration which Dominos was happy to help out with.”
Staff from Tequila Mocking Bird were treated to a number of pizzas delivered to their office at Tom Johnston Road which tied in with their annual Christmas jumper day.
