Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the provision of an efficient and effective service to the Boards, Committees and Senior Management Teams, as appropriate. 

Your main responsibilities will include;

  • Attending meetings of Boards and Committees in order to accurately minute proceedings
  • Ensuring that all Board and Committee documentation is produced and dispatched in accordance with established procedures
  • Providing a wide range of  administration duties

The successful candidate will be;

  • A strong administrator with experience of providing a service  for Boards or Committees
  • A competent user of Microsoft Office
  • An experienced minute taker
  • Qualified  to a minimum of SCQF Level 7 (in a relevant discipline)

We currently require Relief Concierges to work in our temporary homeless accommodation in Forfar and Dundee. 

The successful candidates will cover for periods of Sickness and Annual Leave and have experience of working with vulnerable people.

Previous Concierge experience is not essential but would be preferred.

The Service

Due to expansion, we are now recruiting for Homecare service staff to work in and around Dundee City.

The Service

Angus Homecare Services provide housing support and therapeutic visits to people in their own homes, most of whom are elderly. The outreach service users may have learning and, or physical disabilities and mental health issues, and require support with anything from personal care to attending appointments. 

 

The Role includes;

  • Assisting and supporting clients with personal care (including intimate personal care)
  • Moving and handling (including use of hoists and, or equipment)
  • Daily living skills including; shopping, cooking, meal preparation and light domestic duties
  • Administration of medication

Previous experience in the care sector is desirable but not essential.

Support and care is provided 7 days a week. There are various shift patterns between the hours of 7am and 10.30pm which may include split shifts depending on the support needed; 8 hours shifts and possibly nightshifts (which will attract an enhanced payment).
