Our Service

Bruntsfield Project is a 24/7 temporary supported accommodation service located on Bruntsfield Place in Edinburgh. Our 20 service users are male and female homeless individuals with a variety of support needs including substance misuse and mental health issues. 

The Role

This is a senior role in a team whose aim is to move service users on from the project and resettle them in the community in a permanent housing option suited to their needs. This is achieved by building supportive relationships with service users and assisting them to tackle the issues that led to their homelessness.

You will guide a team of Support Workers to achieve these outcomes and be a supervisory presence in the team, as well as providing one to one support with more complex cases. 

The Candidate

You will;

  • Be confident and experienced in dealing with a homeless client group
  • Have compassion and understanding for the issues homeless individuals face
  • Hold an SVQ3 in Health and Social Care or have the willingness to undertake study to achieve this
